TG School of Music hosts concert

GOSHEN, IN – On Sat., April 25, TG School of Music will host a student/teacher concert to emphasize the importance of music in the community and showcase local talent. The concert will be held at
Goshen Theater (216 S. Main Street). Performances begin at 5 p.m.; an open jam happens at 10 p.m. “In these tough times, we feel that art and music are more important than ever,” said Tim Hochstetler, owner of the school. “How many times has music made you feel better?”

Hochstetler hopes this will be the first of a series of concerts and recitals for the school, located at 123 S. Main Street.

“We want to provide an opportunity for young and old emerging musicians to experience performing in front of an audience,” he said.

There will also be a fashion show featuring the vintage and handmade clothing from The Dandy Lion Boutique, which is located behind TG Music. Fifteen models will be participating.

Tickets are $10 at the door, $5 for students. Proceeds go for making the downtown building more energy efficient and green. TG Music store is donating musical accessories, which will be raffled that night.
